How to use VVDI2 BMW FEM/BDC Test Platform Cable?

When you use VVDI2 do BMW FEM or MQB,you may need to use with platform to work more stable.Here we will introduce BMW FEM test platform.
1.BMW FEM Data Desktop Test Platform work with VVDI2 Connection

2. Key Position
Put the key marked with red (see above pic.2) on the coil.

3. START/STOP button operation
D1: START/STOP button’s indicator- light on when the power supply is connected
D2: Automatic stop and start function (MSA) indicator- default status: light off
D3: Engine fire shutoff switch’s indicator (to replace the dashboard and display the status of the engine fire shutoff
switch)- light on when the switch is turned on and light off when the engine is turned off

How to turn on the engine fire shutoff switch:
Put the working key on the coil;
Press the button;
Engine fire shutoff switch indicator (D3) lights on;(If the indicator fails to light on, wait for 3-5 seconds and press
it again)
How to turn off the engine fire shutoff switch:
Press it continuously for 3 times;Engine fire shutoff switch indicator (D3) lights off- engine fire shutoff switch is turned off

How to use VVDI2 BMW FEM BDC to Reset Mileage?

VVDI2 BMW newly add BMW FEM BDC authorization service.If you need do BMW FEM BDC module,you need add authorization firstly.Here we will display VVDI2 BMW FEM/BDC module Mileage change steps.
1.Start VVDI2 BMW software,and choose Key Learn>FEM/BDC Key Learn>Get Key Info

2.Choose "Programming FEM/BDC system".Then do like software procedure shows.

Step 1:
1.Read FEM/BDC coding via OBDII or on the bench.
2. You’d better not close this window after start the procedure.



Step 2:
1.Open FEM/BDC shell, find 95128/95256 chip position, read EEPROM dump via BDM programmer.
2. Load original EEPROM dump and save special eeprom dump, write special eeprom dump back to 95128/95256 chip.
3. Restore FEM/BDC shell, provide +12v and connect OBD.
You can use Xhorse VVDI Prog to read the eeprom dump file.

Step 3:
1. This operation require FEM/BDC on the bench, and make sure you finish step1 and step2.
2. Provide +12v to FEM/BDC and connect OBD.

Step 4:
1.Open FEM/BDC shell,write original EEPROM dump (read in step2) back to 95128/95256 chip.
2. Restore FEM/BDC shell, provide +12v and connect OBD.


Step 5:
Load coding file read in step1, write to FEM/BDC via OBDII, finish FEM/BDC programming.


3.Reset KM.

Is VVDI Prog Necessary for VVDI2 BMW FEM/BDC function?

vvdi2 commander key programmer BMW FEM/BDC function is supported via VVDI2,but it is not OBD way,it needs to remove dashboard.And in vvdi2 bmw fem function,will you need BMW FEM/BDC key program and km function?

1.VVDI2 BMW FEM Key Program
In some videos,it displays use VVDI Prog,then use VVDI2 BMW FEM.It is using vvdi prog programmer to read BMW ISN,VVDI2 can also read BMW ISN in BMW ISN function.

2.VVDI2 BMW FEM
2.1. Change only FEM km,no need use other.
2.2. Change Car KM,you need also change 35080 chip in dashboard.You can use VVDI Prog.
